Keystone STARS

KenCrest centers participate in Keystone STARS, Pennsylvania’s continuous quality improvement system for early care and education. Each of the four STAR levels has its own research-based performance standards. These standards measure four major areas that make a difference in the quality of care children receive:

• Director/staff qualifications and professional development
• The early learning program
• Partnerships with families and the community
• Leadership and management

Keystone STARS is voluntary and practitioner driven. KenCrest participates because it helps us improve the quality of services for you and your child.
